The History of Green Bin®

In 2018, Green Bin® was founded in metro Phoenix, AZ, with a goal to reduce the environmental impact of moving home or office locally by offering an eco-friendly alternative to cardboard moving boxes.

In 2019, in our first full year of business, Green Bin® diverted over 3,000 lbs. of cardboard from landfills, saving 28 trees.

When entrepreneurs Jeff Quincey and Brandon Hebert bought Green Bin® in September 2020, they got hands-on immediately. These guys were cleaning & sanitizing, delivering, and picking up bins themselves – all to get a better understanding of the business and their customers.

It worked. Their pricing was right, their product was right, so their focus went immediately to enhancing the customer experience. It was clear that their own success would boil down to two key things:

  1. Delivering clean product
  2. Being on time for delivery and pick-up!

With the growth of the business locally in Phoenix, Jeff & Brandon decided to develop an idea that would, in time, spread the Green Bin® love nationwide. Late in 2023, they started their plans to rid the country of cardboard moving boxes by offering Owner Operator Area Licenses nationwide.

Green Bin® Becomes Green Bin® kathy ireland®

In early 2024, Jeff & Brandon partnered with kathy ireland® Worldwide to further enhance the credibility of the business, and to drive their nationwide expansion plans. In April 2024, Green Bin® kathy ireland® was born.

Today, as the reputation of Green Bin® kathy ireland® grows, our reach will only grow. With new potential licensees talking to the team every week, the guys hope it won’t be long before Green Bin® will be available across the country in most major metropolitan areas.

However, whatever the future holds, our focus on those two very simplistic ideals remains. If we deliver clean, sanitized bins at the time the customer is expecting us, our business will grow!
